I have a 9500 Smittybilt winch. I'm thinking about getting a winch cradle for my trailer hitch as opposed to a front mounted winch bumper. Here's what Smittybilt has to offer http://www.smittybilt.com/product/index/159.htm Pros: cheaper, easier to take off, Cons: don't know if it will affect departure angle, don't know if I can open rear door when installed, don't know how difficult it would be to find a secure path for wiring I do most of my driving in town so I don't know if I want a full time winch bumper on my vehicle but I feel as if I need something because I'm not smart enough not to get stuck (see below).
