That small of a trailer MoTec could be hailed by either patriot or TH, both rated 2000#

Also the patriot can be got in a trail hawk rated version. Dealer said there like hens teeth everyone in snow country gobbles them up.

Does your fd2 really 4x4 or an awd with low. The trail version beside that is supposed to go threw 20" of water so it must have better air cleaner electronic and body seals. I'm going to post a tire question on new topic which brand
    Thanks I'm driving wife nuts

FREEDOM DRIVE II patriot is awd with low lock, not 4x4 like a wrangler. Higher ground clearance than FREEDOM DRIVE I awd patriot. Does have skid plates like the TH renny.

What would be the purpose of putting a class II hitch on a vehicle that is rated only 2000# could it be that the renny truly could pull closer to 3000#??

I looked again, I stand corrected! my tow package hitch is a class III !! Reasoning would dictate I could pull the 3000# camper I'm looking at then(?)

Just as a warning; You 'could' tow 3000 possibly. But if anything breaks, you have to pay for it. Warranty=void. Just because the hitch said it can handle 3k, your frame that its attached to might not be able to, and personally I wouldnt risk it

I pulled this boat with my Renegade to the gas station ,no problem but could feel it a little in sweeping turns.hardly any tongue weight there. It does surprisingly well but I wouldn't wanna to it all the time.

So this pic is actually from a Happier Camper HC1 video that they just emailed me. Their newest video actually has a Trailhawk pulling one of these. I really love these little campers, but haven't raised enough money to purchase yet. I thought I would share with the group. Kind of cool that they have a Renegade pulling one of these in their ad. [emoji2] check out their website.
