So far I am loving me Renegade but something odd happened last night as I was leaving my house for dinner. I put my Renegade in reverse, the backup camera turned on like normal but then the parking assist guide lines suddenly disappeared. I've driven and backed up several more times since last night but the lines are still not displaying.

Before I take it into the dealership I thought maybe someone else here would have an idea how to fix this?

    Hey Jae,

I found a service bulletin that may be related to your parking assist concern. I’ve provided it below for your review. Let me know if you have any additional questions or would like assistance in setting up an appointment at your FCA dealer.

    TSB: 08-094-15

Subject: Flash: Park Assist Module (PAM) Enhancements

Overview: This bulletin involves reprogramming the Park Assist Module (PAM) with the latest available software.

    Models: 2015 (BU) Jeep Renegade

Note: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before December 17, 2014 (MDH 1217XX) equipped with Parksense Rear Park Assist System (Sales Code XAA).

Symptom/Condition: A customer may notice the park assist system may not be available at start up.

    Thank you,

My Renegade was built in July 2015 though.

As a follow up, I got this figured out. I was able to reactivate them by going into settings > Safety and Security > ParkView Guide Assist > Turn On.

Upon reading more in the manual, it turns out that the guidelines will deactivate automatically if you reverse faster than 8mph. I guess I got a little heavy on the gas pedal last night on my way out to dinner.

I was just looking around the forum, since I just got a new renegade. I was wondering the same thing, but have had to take it to the dealership twice, their fault, not my jeep. Thanks for the advice on those lines, I noticed mine were gone too!
