As the Trailhawk outside the US has no recovery hooks I'm trying to work out the best way to forwards recovery my soon to arrive yellow TH.

Can someone please post a photo of how the front hooks are attached, and ideally what's in the same place on the European version. I'm thinking 3 tonne climbing strops round the cross member but not sure if that's possible.

John I have a Non-TH and after some research and talking to RenegadeReady I was informed that the TH has a cut out on the left rear bumper (fake air vent). You can cut out the vent and purchase some trim pieces and the hook and then you have a recovery point in the rear. The biggest thing is wired having a hitch receiver or the TH inner bumper structure for the hook. I plan on buying the hitch from RenegadeReady that has the mount for the hook. I have already ordered the trim cover and clip to hold in place. The hook is about $115 so I have to save some cash for that. I am also looking at adding a D-ring for the receiver. Here are the part numbers to help. I am still looking at switching to a TH front bumper setup.

    Cover Clip - 68283199AA
    Rear TH Hook - 68255543AA

The non US TH comes with the nice red hook at the back, just not the front. At the front the TH has a nice solid cross member for recovery the other models don't , one reason I wouldn't consider the non TH models. And screw in eyes aren't suitable for recovery usually as the threads can strip. Thus my questions about getting a strop round the cross member.

Bottom is the stock TH bumper. You can see there is a cutout for the red hook. I'm in Canada, and I have both front and rear red tow hooks on my 2015 TH.

    Another view with it attached.

Got these pics while replacing the bumper to go with the stock trailer hitch.

From what I saw from the install manual for the trailer hitch, the non-TH bumper doesn't extend into the frame, like the trailer hitch bumper.

(See step 12 - appearance of non-TH bumper stops at frame, not extending into it).

This means that even if it did have the cutout, it may not be a good idea to try to tow something using the hook without the structural bumper.

Thanks - Those photos are informative however I have the rear hook, I want to see how the front ones are attached so I can work out an alternative for the UK which doesn't have them. The European Trailhawk comes with ONLY the back hook :-(

There is one problem that I have not yet dealt with.
Right Support - behind bulked is almost touching lower accessories pulley. Like 3-4mm distance.
Once already. When try to harder accelerate from 0 heard noice of grinder mashing under hood.
EU version of TH uses 2.0 Diesel engine.

Will need to cut that element little more to male more place for engine.

    Will post pictures then
