Did you use film to cover the entire lamp of just over the reverse light X? Been wanting to smoke mine using film but the contours of the light are really intricate looks good!
I used a pre cut film specifically for Renegade taillights, but I wouldn't recommend that route. As you said, the countours are intricate... It ended up peeling off a few weeks ago. I would recommend a roll of film that you can custom cut and use a heat gun to ensure good adhesion! A hair dryer won't cut it.
