I went to the Overland Expo here in AZ and spoke with the rep from Teraflex, Joe. I asked if they had any plans for the Renegade. He told me they have a 1¾ in lift in the works, expected to be released in the next 1-3 months. They also did say that they've purchased their own Renegade and are playing around with it.

I'm definitely interested to see what comes about.

I have heard that rough country was looking into making products as well! I am excited and definable holding out for the lift! Waiting to have options! Hopefully maybe can come up with swapping out struts/springs.

Forewarning that I don't have any experience with 4x4 vehicles until I got my TrailHawk, but wont they have to come out with longer driveshafts and arms if they continue to raise our Jeeps more than then 1 1/2" of the DayStar kit?

LOL!! While TeraFlex makes a decent spacer lift kit for the Wrangler, so much of everything else they have made in China isn't exactly quality stuff. Trust me, over the last 10 years, I have personally installed and tested a lot of their products and have also see many of them fail. Everything from tire carriers.

To long arm brackets on their own Jeep.

    To track bar breaks.

Personally, I would steer clear of TeraFlex but, that is just my opinion.

Hmm, guess you don't know very many Wrangler owners or ones who actually use their Jeep as hard as they think they do.

Sorry, can't make this shit up. I got more pics of breaks and blown out bushings that I've taken over the last 9 years but hey, you can believe whatever it is you want to believe :)

I called and asked them myself, they said to date they have done zero research or designing regarding the Jeep Renegade. That was speaking to a manager there

Seems no one other than Daystar and Rocky Road really care to make anything for the Renegade at this point, and its a shame. All they need is to see all the threads and searches on Google to know that it would be profitable for them to make accessories for our crowd.

I get the risk vs benefit of having to put in all the R&D to bring these items to market, but there is plenty of demand for them.

I would like to imagine that with Jeep labeling this an entry vehicle into the offroad world or jeep life that other companies may put in the effort. However if you look at all the companies that make parts for Jeeps, the money is in the Wrangler and always has been. Some wrangler parts are compatible with the cherokee(XJ) so there is less cost in R&D. Versus the Renegade being a new platform with little numbers. Only time will tell!

It's all about the numbers. There are well over 1 million JK Wranglers on the road today. Even if just 1% of those people end up modifying theirs, that's a LOT of Jeeps. There are only about 60,000 Renegades on the road today and of them, a vast majority of people will have NO desire to modify them.

Used to run a teraflex long arm kit on my old XJ and it served me well. The unibody gave out before the long arm kit did.

Good point. Where did you get the 60K number out of curiosity? Seems like there should be more Renegades than that out there by now.

That sounds about right with the sales figures through April 2016. I hope they keep selling good. More sales = more part choices

Problem is even though it's billed as Jeep's entry level offroader, that's not the majority of people that are buying it. So I say it has a ways to go before offroad suppliers start doing anything too serious.
