Hi from Rhode Island. We bought our Sierra Blue Latitude last September and have a little over 15000 miles on it. Just completed a 3400 mile trip from RI to Florida and back. The Renegade ran great and we averaged 29.1 mpg for the trip.

I am retired and a little on the older side and have had a number of 4x4's over the years but this is our first jeep. The first 4x4 was a 1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser that would go anywhere you pointed it. Most of my off roading will be for fishing on the beach. I just bought a Yakima rack and a new rack for my fishing rods which I will install shortly. Besides fishing my other hobby is photography.

We really enjoy our Renegade and enjoy driving it daily.

If you can get one do it. They are an amazing vehicle, bare bones, very rugged and will go anywhere. They stopped production about 1984 on them and there are some around in pretty good shape. There is a place in California that specializes in them, some beautiful rebuilds, not cheap though.

It's a company called ICON. They make older model Broncos too. They recently did a Willys Wagon.
