I have the stock 16 alloys on my Sport 4x4 and i want to run a slight wider tire. I am looking at the size 225/65R16 which is .5 taller and .4 wider than the 8.5 tires i have now. Would this fit on my renegade with out compromising off roading? Just want a lager foot print with a more aggressive tread pattern. Im also considering 215/70R16. Thanks for all the help.

    I'm running 215/70/16 I think you can get away with a 225/75/16 I believe.

Alex your running nothing but stock on your 4x4 sport correct? No lift no spacers? Im seeing if I can get away with the KO2's 215/65R16's with stock equipment on my 4x2 sport.

Tires were delivered to the shop today, couldn't of left works parking lot any quicker haha. Got 215/65/16, guy drove it around the block once said no issues. Slight road noise as expected. Couldn't be happier. ImageUploadedByToasterJeep1476403282.672901.jpg

    Looks good!
We went with a 225/60 and rides great.
We do more highway driving so it will work better for us.
If they stocked those I would have bought them though

I am thinking of going with the 215/65/16 general grabbers. I am not planning on lifting the jeep anytime soon but i still want that offroad perk. I do take this little guy through trails but when the rain hits i want to run through mud lol. I want to keep the tires close or at the stock size because i like that larger wheel gap and plus the fact its my daily driver :)
