Silver Lake was a great place that we got to play on during the 2012 JK-Experience and in this latest release of "Tales of the Trailhawk", you'll get to see the all new 2015 Jeep BU Renegade go "Sand Surfing" on the dunes. I hope you enjoy.
You and me both. I was disappointed that they didn't show one of these Renegades climbing all the way to the top of the dunes but, with the right tires and aired down, I think it's possible especially being as light as they are.
There is a video on Jeeps website that shows the Renegade going up that hill. Did not look like it was having much trouble.
Yeah, but they didn't show it making it to the top. I've been there in Moby and it's a tough dune to climb. Of course, Moby weighs a ton and back then, only had a 3.8L motor to push it along.
Lol! Silver lake has that one big hill everyone likes to race up. Must be the little jeep didn't have enough power. Needs a hemi.
I'm sorry, but every Wrangler should come standard with recovery gear from now on. Could you imagine how many times you're going to have to pull one of these out of the mud/rocks/trees/sand?
