Wave from Willis, Tx about an hour north of Houston. My name is Tom and I'm also a member on WAL. After owning my JK for a couple years I finally convinced my wife to get a Jeep Renegade. So we traded in her 2014 Chevy Cruze and got a 2016 Renegade Trailhawk. I got an amazing deal on it so that helped with the negative equity on the Cruze. The only problem with it, it had some hail damage. Mostly on the hood which I plan on popping out this weekend. She's already wanting to do upgrades like lift, tires and roof rack.
Welcome and congratulations on the Renegade. The hood is aluminum, not sure if it pops the same as sheet steel. We had a Chevy Malibu that had a lot of dents from acorns that dropped while we were away for a couple of months. It is amazing what the guy from the dent removal shop did in just a few hours. Looks like you're right. It didn't work. I wasn't even thinking about the Renegade being aluminum. Looks like I will be taking it to a dent removal shop.
