I started this process with jeep wave today. They gave me a case number but requested that I have it looked at by the dealership firstly. The dealer new cars manager took pictures of the tires and said he would get back to me on what they could do. I also showed him the that sticker does say all terrains on it. I told him that since I already lifted the jeep with the Daystar 1.5", it would be great to get 235/65r17 ATs put on and I would pay the difference for the upsize. The dealer seemed willing to help. We'll see what happens!

Just a tip... Go to the Falken website and show the dealer the tire that the manufacturer classifies as "all seasonal". They have another tire of the same class that says All Terrain. Obviously if the manufacture called the tire all season then that's what it's meant for. There is no debate as to whether the tire is or is not all terrain. It is all seasonal. Two very different products! Good luck guys!

Im still waiting for a reply, the initial word from the dealer AND JeepWave was no, the truck has on it what it is supposed to have. I am hoping they change their mind, but I'm not confident. I am however glad to see many here getting them changed by their dealers, gives me a lil hope...

Just got word that Jeep wave is going to cover the cost of new all terrain tires! I am paying the difference to upsize them. Woohoo!

My KO2s are at the dealership now. Working on getting a lift and wheel spacers ordered through my dealership so everything can be installed at the same time. Hopefully I will know more later this week.

So here is my dalema. Jeep is going to pay for the tires and labor. My dealer will get me a more aggressive AT. He did not recommend going up 1 size do to throwing off the computer, shift points, etc. worried about warranty. Are there any ATs out there at 215/65R17 other than Goodyears?

That's what I'm asking the dealer. Not to much different in size.

You are paying the difference, it shouldn't matter to them

I understand your concern. Keep in mind that the warranty is not entirely voided because of going with a bigger size tire. Just because I put a lift kit on my jeep doesn't mean that I will lose my warranty on engine, transmission, electrical...but, rather things pertaining to what was modded, like the suspension.

And that all really depends on your dealership. My dealership told me that everything would be covered UNLESS something from the lift caused something to fail. It was my understanding that my warranty would be intact. That's the only reason I installed everything that I did.

The dealer is installing these and the warranty will still be valid. Jeep needs to approve everything and that will be tomorrow.

My dealer mention something about buying them back for $40 each. I may buy them for the Patiot since they are the same size. To be honest, I think they are a decent tire.

My case worker offered me to get it done outside dealer and then reimburse. That might be a way to keep the tires on the hush
