I'm going to try and keep mine since I'm getting them installed at my local repair shop.

My local dealership could only get the BFGoodrich but I wanted the Yokohama G015 so Jeep wave said to just order them myself and get them installed. They didn't say I had to get them installed at the dealership, it was easier just to have tire rack ship them to my nearest qualified installer.

Getting them installed Saturday, guess when I turn in my receipts to be reimbursed they will tell me if everything is good or if I have to take the tires back to the dealership.

Well, I just pulled the trigger on the G-Force 1" lift kit from Madness and the Renegade Ready 1" wheel spacers. Hopefully I will have them and be able to schedule my dealer to install them along with the KO2 tires from Jeep Wave next week on my Trailhawk. Really looking forward to seeing the big difference with all of these upgrades added at the same time.

I ordered the kit from Madness Autoworks and I believe they have them in stock. Hilltop Offroad in Canada also sells them, but in turn, orders them from Italy to be shipped to you. So mine should be coming from California.

They said they had approval to pay $195 a tire installed and the Yokohama tires are cheaper then the BFGoodrich. My dealership can only get tires from 2 different distributors which only have the BFGoodrich, so I opted to open up my choices by shopping other sources then my dealership.

I chose these tires because they are closest in weight to the factory tire (factory 27lbs, Yokohama 30lbs and BFGoodrich 39lbs), figured less stress on my drive train, comparable fuel mileage and still a good off-road tire.

Just off the phone with Jeep Wave and they are replacing my tires. But I have to pay up front! I am concerned I may not get the tires I want!(KO2's)

How would a heavier tire negativly effect your vehicle?

Takes a little more to turn a heavier tire so possibly more stress on the driveline, I have a lifetime warranty on the powertrain and want A/T tires that are close to factory spec as to not give them any reason to not fix something that breaks. I owned my Cherokee for 15 years and would like to have this Trailhawk for at least 10-15 years, I want stuff to not wear out prematurely.

Also I have run aggressive A/T and Mud tires on my Cherokee and F-250 4x4 but want a more fuel efficient, quieter ride with this Trailhawk so the Yokohama seems to be the right choice for me.

Hmm good explanation. I wonder if its enough to cause some damage over long term.

I'd say it would be negligible, more dependent on how one drives, hard on the accelerator, spinning tires, etc but the extra weight in hard driving scenarios could contribute to more wear and tear. The Yokohama tread design is what I was leaning towards and the lighter weight makes it a good buy for me cause it is a little extra cya for my lifetime warranty.

I get my tires installed on Tuesday. Not paying anything. Find out tomorrow if they are BFGs or Yokohamas. Also, did everyone get their spare tire changed? I am getting all 5.

I thought about that same damn thing, but not until the dealer already ordered my KO2 tires. I should probably call them and see if they can order one more tire to put on my spare just to be safe if i ever need it.

I just emailed my case worker and asked if I can have my dealer order a 5th KO2 and if they would cover the cost. Waiting to hear back now.

I bet they would cover it after the fact. I mean they should have known better in the first place.
