Ok can some one talk me through the steps here, if I am understanding right I have the possibility of getting KO2s and them not costing me a grand ?
Well my case manager is insisting that the Goodyear SR-A's are an all terrain tire and the dealer agrees! Even after I sent them the link to Goodyear and those tires aren't even listed under All-Terrain tires! My luck may have just dried up!
*2016 Trailhawk. Us 1st year buyers don't get such luck. Slightly lame IMO. But, Ill take my 9 speaker all day instead of the Beats setup
So the 2015 is stuck with good years? Oh well guess Ill be buying tired when I get home from the vacation lol.
Well just heard back from JeepWave and their final offer is $750 towards the replacement of my tires regardless of where I get them . They told me that this is their final offer. I don't see how others got theirs replaced 100% and not me. Only had the vehicle since March. I feel like I'm being screwed!
I am in the same boat, my case manager never returns my calls and insist the Goodyear SR-A is a suitable All-Terrain replacement and from some of the questions I was asked yesterday by another Jeep Wave rep they are aware of this thread on the forums! But I will take the $750 if that means I can go and get the tires I see fit!
They want me to get the tires installed and send them a copy of the receipt and they will reimburse me $750. My only fear is they won't send me the offer in writing. It looks like if I go with 4 tires and keep the spare, then I will be right at $750.
Don't see how the Goodyear SR-A are all-terrain, if you go to Goodyear's website, they are not under the all-terrain section, the Wrangler A/T, Adventure, Duratrak, etc are but not the SR-A. Also, all-terrain is listed as standard equipment and they sold me highway tires as all-terrain tires, this is false advertising and I believe there are laws against it. Maybe they should read this thread as they are trying to skirt the law.
I totally agree. To me it's simple but what I see is the issue is Jeep is trying to go with the same size tire. And to make it worse Falken doesn't even list the size tire that's on my jeep now.
Its like them selling you a blue jeep but when it comes in its green. We can paint it blue for ya but itll cost ya!!
Mine are listed on the build sheet as: 215/65R17 BSW AS On/Off Road Tires I think I'm probably out of luck.
I talked to discount tire a week ago. They had to gather the tires from three sources. Offered to split shipping w me 40 bucks. They arrive monday. Jeep wave granted me 600 bucks reimbursed after the fact. And i keep the falkens for winter and spring and ill use ko2s for summer fall in colorado and utah. Over getting nothing. I chose this all day.
