So I have the kit sitting in my garage waiting to be installed but I just can't get motivated enough to actually do it. I have all the tools and the ability to do so, I'm just not sure it's even worth it. For those of you that have it and have taken your jeep off road, does it actually make a big enough difference to justify 6+hrs on your back? Have you tried to do a trail before and failed and then came back with the lift and was able to accomplish it?

I have seen all of your videos, but I honestly think I could manage that trail in a non lifted TH.

Random question about the lift that I've been thinking about. For you guys that are having trouble getting your alignment specs to come inline, are you running smaller 16" wheels and tires? I was just wondering if it may align better with the 17" wheels that came on the TH.

There were certain parts in this video where the bumpers/rocker panels either rubbed or came close to rubbing, so the lift definitely helped a little bit.

I just want to say thanks to all you toasters for posting your trials and tribulations of wheels / tires and a big thanks to wayoflife for his write ups.
I installed the Daystar lift last weekend and had my KO2 225/65R17's mounted today (the rock sliders should be in next month). Everything went smooth and there were no surprises. Couldn't be happier and can't wait to give them a proper test on the trails.

And, well it might not seem like much, but well worth the effort (I feel)

BTW, the control arm brackets that came in my kit (purchased a couple weeks ago) had the full welds.
